Around The Studio...

Our mini-getaway to the Boston area this past weekend yielded a few sweet scores including lamps, shades, fabric and paint.

While it doesn't look overly exciting in it's current state, this stack of neutral fabric is going to make for some beautiful lamp shades.

They will really come to life when placed atop a vintage statement lamp…

These three are only a few among dozens of bases currently in the works.

In addition to the cozy neutrals, I'm eager to use these classic black & whites...

In his spare time, my guy developed a solution to my harp storage issues. Adapted from this bookshelf, as seen on The Brick House, we used industrial black pipes to create a rod for the harps to hang on.

This solution not only solves the problem, but adds an edgy & gritty feel to the space. I love it! This idea could be adapted so many different ways...

Think towel bar, magazine rack, curtain rod, shower rod… The list goes on!
