Downtime - Volume 3

Centro Garden, located on Brant St. in downtown Burlington, opened it's doors this weekend. My guy & I were lucky enough to attend the VIP opening party.
You can read all about the product, the owner, the store and the concept behind the store in my in-depth post over on the Style at Home Blog.
You can expect to see more Mod Pieces lamps popping up in their displays as they transition from holiday to more unique furnishings and decor in the new year.
I'm positively smitten with the work of UK artist, Peggy Wolf.
Her figurative illustrations have a moody feel that speak to me and my quirky style prefrences.
Peggy's background in fashion and interior design account for her fearless use of bold, rich colours.
Her unique style is achieved through a combination of hand-drawn illustrations and digital collages.
Check out all of Peggy Wolf's prints in her Etsty shop!
If you're like me, you can't get enough of Pure Green Magazine.
Until recently, their issues have only been available digitally. But, now you can subscribe to recieve four issues per year in print!
There's just something so much more satisfying about holding a magazine in your hands and flipping through the pages.
In true Pure Green fashion, the print editions will be produced using 100% post consumer recycled stock, uncoated.

I discovered The Designers' Tongue print, by Lunch Breath, while poking around on Pinterest.
I kind of love it.
It's humorous, stereotypical and completely true.
You can purchase this print, and other works, through Lunch Breath.
Oh, I almost forgot... Stay entertained by visiting their blog and take in the playful cartoons & digital illustrations.
While catching up on my Google Reader this week, Anthology led me to Fine Little Day, an online shop featuring some seriously cute home decor.
Anthology blogged about Gran Wallpaper, which is really fun, but I'm not sure I'd want to make this sort of statement year round.
Instead, opt for the same playful print in a pillow cover. This way, you can pull it out and tuck it away with your other holiday decor.
The modern black & white scheme is fab for the holidays. Anything but red & green!
